Mombetsu drift ice festival

The Abashiri Okhotsk drift ice festival

Kitami winter festival

　Citizen handmade the "ice candle" which fills the hall surrounded with the ice snow figure. If 1000 pieces are lit these more than 20,000, a cheer will arise and a festival will greet a climax. Children can enjoy the launching platform of making a snow figure or ice, various games, etc.

　Besides the snow mobile land of Tokoro-cho introduced through the experience course of the Kitami starting point, also at the Onneyu, Rubeshibe-town hot spring, the snow mobile is entitled in ONNEYU snowy-story(from January to March), and is carried out the snow mobile land snow mobile tour festival etc. The all Hokkaido ATV Saroma cup (the beginning of March), ATV (four-flower buggy) is competing for a time or durability through the course on the snow.

　It is also pleasant to observe the race which became white-hot.

　At the Okhotsk Koshimizu drift ice balloon festival (the middle of February), hot-air balloon lovers gather and it carries out skilled of drift ice or the winter scene from the sky.
　 Moreover, there is also an experience trial ride meeting.

　In the 100km cross-country-skiing convention (end of February) of Yubetsu land Okhotsk, courses, such as the 85 meters in domestic and 100km marathon, are set as the grand Yubetsu land. From the foot of Mt.KITATAISETSU to the Sea of Okhotsk. The severe fight is unfolded.
